9YRH or YRH - Yellow, Red Head or Yellow Hornet

COLOR NAME: Yellow, Red Head or Yellow Hornet
LURE(S) PICTURED: Tadpolly Spook (9000YRH), Musky Crazy Crawler (2159YRH), Tiny Crazy Crawler (2120YRH), Sculpin (spoon)(714YRH)

Solid yellow body with a red head. The post WWII version of the Crazy Crawler had black 'wings' on the body. The "Yellow, Red Head" name applied to this color code well into the 1970's. The name was then changed to Yellow Hornet.

The Sculpin spoon dates to 1981-1984 and came in 2 varieties of YRH, one being phosphorescent glow yellow with painted blended red on the pointed part of the body. The other as pictured, has red & silver prismatic tape. (Picture courtesy of Peter Patton!)
