DESCRIPTION:

Fly rod lures: Transparent white body with white rib pattern (white lines) over the top and bottom of the body with red hackle (feather) on the tail. This color code was also used for both sizes of Heddon's Bass Bug Spook fly rod lure (series 974 and 975) which has white feather wings and a red hackle (feather tail); c. late 1930's thru early 1950's.

Devil King: White body with red markings and red eyes. Cataloged from 1937 to 1939 for all three sizes of this lure.

This color code was also used for the cork bodied "Flap-Tail Bug" fly rod lure, Heddon series number 720. It has a red head with a white body and red feather wings on either side. (Not pictured.)
