WGH - White, Black Head

COLOR NAME: White, Black Head
COLOR CODES: WGH
RELATED COLOR(S): WBH
LURE(S) PICTURED: Box for River Runt Spook Sinker (9110WGH)
DESCRIPTION:

White body with Black Head. It would be the opposite of GWH. What is interesting about this box is that it is the 1st version River Runt Spook box that came into use prior to WWII.  After WWII, Heddon used up the existing stock of these and then went to a similar box but different in some respects.  Also, the color code system changed so what you have is a pre-WWII box with a 'new' color code system.  After WWII the color code for "Black" was changed from "G" to "B" so that adds another unusual aspect to this box.  It may well be a factory error marking, i.e., should have been WBH?
