DESCRIPTION: | There are three (3) variations of this color as follows which are numbered in the picture: #1 - Silver Sparkle: Transparent body with silver scales on back and belly, red face and tail, silver bands running vertically around the body, and a silver insert that looks much like crinkled tinfoil. #2 - Gold Sparkle: Transparent body with silver scales on back and belly, red face and tail, silver bands running vertically around the body and a gold insert that looks like fine gold metallic particles. One variation of the Gold Sparkle is the absence of the silver bands around the lure as seen in the pictures marked 2A. #3 - Dimpled Silver Sparkle: Transparent body with silver scales on back and belly, red face and tail, and a dimpled silver insert in the body. To date, there has been no other color code found to indicate the difference between the three variations. Both the silver and the gold inserts also come in the Saltwater River Runt Spook which is identical to a floater (and marked floater on the belly) but does not have a diving lip and has a nose line tie inserted straight into the nose running parallel to the body. Saltwater models have a preceding 'S' to their Heddon number, i.e., S9400SP. This color was first cataloged for River Runt Spooks, Chugger Spooks, Vamp Spooks and Zara Spooks in 1953.
