DESCRIPTION:

The 1st version has a solid orange body with red and black spots, black spine, red face. Comes in both gold eye and later yellow and white eye versions. Variations in spots are common ranging from all red to all black and in various sizes. The body color on later production models is solid yellow or a fluorescent yellow and the spots are more orange or orange-red. Cataloged for River Runt Spooks in 1952. A transparent verison of this color is known as Spook Glow, Orange Spots (SG-SO).

The River Runt Spooks in the packaging were made for the Japanese market, c. 1995 and later and were not available in the U.S. These all have white eyes.
