DESCRIPTION: The color code '2' was an early code for a lure with a white body with red head and tail though the color description varied depending upon the lure. Among the names for '2' were as follows:

White Body, Red Head
White Body, Red Head and Tail
White Body, Red Top
White Body, Red Eyes
White, Red Eyes and Tail
White, Red Head
White and Red (also Red and White)
White Head and Tail, Red Decorations

This unusually marked box for a Heddon 150 Minnow dates to the late 1920's or early 1930's. The box is a down leaping bass box. (Thanks to Tom Witte for the box picture!)
