BM - Brown Mouse

COLOR NAME: Brown Mouse
COLOR CODES: BM
LURE(S) PICTURED: Standard size Flap-Tail (7000BM), Meadow Mouse (4000BM)
DESCRIPTION: Flap-Tail: Brown, fur-finish or fur-like body with white belly. The 'mouse' colored lures are noted for their mouse-like appearance and have beady eyes, ears and whiskers. The BM code was also used to designate an enamel finish for Heddon's Meadow Mouse lure that consists of a light brown body with a darker brown back; a Meadow Mouse lure in fur finish has a 'F' prefix, i.e., F4000BM while one in enamel finish was 4000BM. This color dates to the early 1930's.
