9RH - Silver Flitter, Red Head

COLOR NAME: Silver Flitter, Red Head
COLOR CODES: 9RH
RELATED COLORS: RHF (Red Head, Flitter), 8RH (Gold Speckled, Red Head), 9RHYB or SSRHYB (Silver Flitter, Red Head, Yellow Belly)
LURE(S) PICTURED: River Runt Spook Go-Deeper (2-1/2" size)(9119RH)
DESCRIPTION: River Runt Spook: Often referred to as a 'saltwater' color due to the silver flitter or glitter on the lure, it has a red head, white body covered with silver glitter or flitter and a silver scale pattern on the belly. The 'red' color is more a 'orange-red' than later red head lures produced after WWII (1945). This color appears on a variety of Heddon lures, both wood and plastic and dates to pre-WWII. There are two known variations, the 8RH with had gold flitter instead of silver flitter and the SSRHYB which had a SOLID YELLOW colored belly (as compared to later versions after WWII which had a yellow SCALE pattern on the belly and a spine pattern, i.e., RHF).
