The Crazy Crawler is a Heddon production for the Japanese market, c. late 1990's-2000's. It has a orange body with silver scale pattern, large random black spots, and a solid yellow body. Later production Heddon lures in this color are easily identified as the spots are BLACK rather than GREEN. The top Zara Spook is also a Heddon production made for the Japanese tackle company, Smith, c. 2010's. This is one of several later colors documented in this Smith catalog picture of Zara Spooks. The bottom Zara Spook was made in 2019-2020 by Pradco Outdoor Brands as one of a limited edition of Zara Spooks in the 14 Karat Gold Coach Dog color but called it Yellow/Red/Black Coach Dog and used the original color code 14KCD. Oddly, the coach dog markings and the spine are not black but a dark green. (Picture of Super Sonic courtesy of Mike Keniry!) |
